I’m really pleased to say hello to you since you’ve decided to visit my website
Let me introduce myself, so that you could feel what my virtues and beliefs are. I’m Aistė, currently living in England but originally I come from a small country called Lithuania. My road as a painter has started not so long ago, and I still call myself a beginner in painting. To be honest, I can’t remember the day when unexpectedly to my own surprise I bought some paints and brushes. But I remember perfectly the day when I painted my first picture. The year 2021 was about to end as it was 30th December. So, the date which has become significant to me is 30/12/2021.
Since that day I’ve been painting to my own pleasure, going through different techniques and making my own way in teaching myself. Luckily, after six months of individual progress and lots of hesitation, life gave me a chance to meet a painting teacher whose lessons I’ve been taking up till now. I feel gratitude to my teacher as these lessons of drawing and painting has allowed to discover what I want to do in my life and who I want to be, and which is the direction I’m going to. While I’m still in the progress of getting to know myself on the professional level, my painting techniques are different. I’m keen on painting with acrylics as much as I’m interested in drawing buildings using pencils.
You know, it’s hard for me to tell about myself what kind of person I am. It’s much more fun for me when people notice qualities in me that I don’t always notice in myself. That’s why I leave the assessment of me to others, and I don’t argue about that 😊. But I want to tell you a little bit about my hobbies and what I like besides painting.
I am an introvert and while writing my introduction I realized that I have more books than clothes at home. Yes, you’ve read that correctly. I love books, although I don’t always read them, but they play a big role in my life, especially when it comes to psychology. My favourite writer is Fyodor Dostoyevsky and psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung. I am interested in psychology, and I also believe that everything in life depends on the person himself, how much effort you put, that much you will result. For more than 4 years I have also been interested in photography, especially nature. I adore the beauty of the nature, the most amazing wonders of the world are for free, all you need is to know how to notice them. Because I live in England, which is a wonderful country, I like travelling around it. My philosophy is as follows: First, I want to explore the country where I live, so that I could later get to know other countries. Apart from exploring the country, I really like art galleries, museums, theatres where I get inspiration if all of a sudden I get lost in my own world of ideas. Music is also a big inspiration, I am currently interested in classical music and piano. Moreover, I have a great interest in learning about the spiritual world.
